Shimmy? Oki? Meaties? Fighting games have a long legacy of odd language, and in this vid, I outline 15 terms to help you level up faster in the Street Fighter series. The quicker you know, understand, and consume these concepts, the quicker you can get to the fun part of fighting games: beating your opponents. This video uses examples from SFV, but all of these concepts should carry over to Street Fighter 6. These are just 15 terms, but there are plenty more out there.
