Who wants this ball of yarn in their stash?!
A Good Yarn is a fabulous art piece created by plaiting material scraps into yarn and winding it into a ball. The rope measured more than a kilometre in length and the ball’s diameter is over 3 metres.
This unique ball of yarn was created by Luke Jerram and rolled through Bradford on Saturday to celebrate the city’s textile heritage. A drumming band accompanied the roll and many from the community gathered to watch.
As a textile company established in Bradford, we love to see the celebration of this city’s textile heritage!
