Great time for Ground Slam Marauder. Crave the Slaughter + Combat Rush allowed me to focus on leaping over XPing in the latter acts. Furthermore, by generating rage from 3 sources we could spam Berserk which was quite impactful on Act 5 Kitava and Innocence. I played a little bit safer this run by taking more life nodes, attacking more, and generally taking a slow and steady pace. With more aggressive play a sub 1:30 is most likely possible. I plan to try Spectral Helix Berserker next to see how a "strong / meta" skill compares in time.

If you count Slayers 20% Cull, the damage is almost comparable to Champion. However, hidden DPS increases on Slayer are a) 5 extra strike range & b) no culling gem required. On this setup, we can swap culling to Ancestral Warchief and have ~10 Mil DPS with Totems up (counting Slayer Cull).
A little bit more defence is desirable to mitigate self-damage but its not too big of a concern and can be mitigated with alternate tree pathing (such as swapping IAS nodes for INC DMG nodes or pursuing maximum leech rate).

Sometimes you gotta meme and at first glance, Cobra Lash & Viper Strike on Assassin are significantly slower than our stronger well practiced skills. However, 3 months ago I was getting the same ~1h40m Act 5 100% times on all my runs; there might be potential here given some practice and theorycraft.
One of the main challenges to solve is the AoE Clear: I could never really figure out the appropriate gems links for Cobra Lash; often swapping between volley & onslaught (due to no GGG links early on). However, in single target scenarios with multiple enemies, Cobra Lash (with volley), seemed to outshine Viper strike which was great to see.
Viper Strike single target was generally very strong the whole run, the challenge is applying the damage due to no nearby strike range on the tree. I imagine an endgame Viper Striker with a ton of strike range could be quite fun.
Expect some caster runs next: Lightning Shadow Variants & Fire Trap Shadow.

3.16 Explosive Arrow Path of Exile
Better positioning or keeping my flasks up keeps me alive or not doing Avoid Elemental Ailments on an ignite build.
MAP MODS:
Monsters have 70% chance to Avoid Elementals
Cannot Leech from Monsters
30% increased Monster Movement Speed
41% increased Monster Attack Speed
40% increased Monster Cast Speed
Monsters deal 109% extra Physical Damage as Cold
Monsters skills Chain 2 additional times
Monsters have 50% increased Accuracy Rating
Players have -20% to amount of Suppressed Spell Damage Prevented
This is all multiplied by 1.28 via my 112 Awakening Bonus.
Berserker explosive arrow felt ok, it has some advantages via a 40% More Multiplier from Aspect of Carnage and numerous Attack Speed sources such as Blitz Charges and Rage, however I often felt myself lacking in other areas that Explosive Arrow Raider solved easily such as Evasion, Onslaught, Accuracy & Spell Suppression.
In Delirium Everywhere achieving spell mitigation is a primary objective for surviving and in 3.16 going for max spell suppression is the known ideal solution. Additionally, in my Low 90s I often felt myself dying a lot to physical damage, it may make sense to play to the strengths of a Left Side Tree build and stack Armour via Determination for mitigation instead of Ghost Shrouds + Evasion via Grace.
I played till Level 99.2 with a Dyadian Dawn and ran some Headhunter gaming from Level 99.2 to Level 100. The damage drop off from Dyadian Dawn was noticeable but I was able to mitigate it via ramping attack speed stacks for similar damage. Headhunter was most beneficial for the survivability via stacking Life and Energy Shield buffs that provided adequate safety when the usual supports were not available.
Im currently still leaning towards either Elementalist or Raider or Pathfinder for a solo explosive arrow build variation.
