130 year old Canadian steam engine putting in the work.

The ONLY Doty Compound in the world regularly putting in the work year-round. The Canadian engine is circa 1895 and in the 40' steamboat 'Persistance'. Running every month of the year, she turns the prop at 200-240 rpm for 7kts. Approximately 600 miles or 1000 kilometers pass under her keel a year. Same make engine as Canada's 'R.M.S. Segwun', and 'S.S. Pumper'
