Fatekeeper just launched into Early Access — and 13 people made it.
Here's my honest first look at whether Paraglacial's dark fantasy RPG lives up to the ambition.
Fatekeeper is a first-person action RPG published by THQ Nordic, set in a handcrafted dark
fantasy world built around melee combat, spell casting, and exploration. The Early Access
launch dropped on June 2, 2026, with roughly 2 hours of content as a starting point toward
a planned 15-hour full release. That's a small slice — and it comes with some rough edges —
but what's here is genuinely interesting.

In this video, I cover:
– What the game does surprisingly well for a 13-person studio
– The core combat loop: where it sings and where it stumbles
– The early access question: is it worth buying right now?
– What I'd want to see fixed before the full launch
This is not a polished product. But there's something here — and that's worth talking about.
