There have been many bands in the history of Indian independent music who have built a legion of fans over time before leaving them in the lurch, after the members parted ways.

Here, we list 13 such acts who we'd love to see make a comeback after they went out of action for various reasons.

We've left out yesteryear outfits like High or Mohiner Ghoraguli from before the 1990s, since there is no real hope of them making a return.
