Exploring Peru: A Journey of Education and Discovery
Our journey through Peru included visits to historical, cultural, and natural sites. We explored Hacienda San José in Chincha, known for its colonial history. In Paracas, we visited Islas Ballestas, home to diverse marine life. We saw the Nazca Lines, ancient geoglyphs in the desert. At Huacachina, we experienced the desert oasis.
In the Sacred Valley, we visited Ollantaytambo, an Inca archaeological site, and Machu Picchu, the ancient citadel. In Cusco, we explored Moray, known for its circular terraces, and the Salt Mine of Maras. We also saw Pukapukara, a military site, and Pisac, which has ruins and a market.
This journey provided insight into Peru’s history, culture, and landscapes.
