This song in Joe Offer's collection was published in "Singing Together", Spring 1976, BBC Publications.
The melody was taken from a German folk song which was with some modification used as the tune for Elvis Presley's song "Wooden Heart".
I attempted to play this finger-style, but could not do so satisfactorily, so, I decided just to strum.
As usual with songs from this collection, I have devised my own chord progression.
