Read this please. I started this series bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and enthusiastic to record. I kept up a twenty five day streak of uploads, without missing one single day. At least like thirteen hours of footage, I checked, on this one game of SOTS.
And it was fucked from the start. I knew the instant I saw our central starting position; I should have restarted with four teams, not three. Or just two. Or not set it to Literal Cheating Mode just to look hardcore. Or not rolled a ten percent chance to get deep-dicked over-
It's not that we're losing every battle. It's not even that I couldn't, theoretically, bring this back from the brink.
But it would be such a fucking pain in my ass, for exactly no viable returns whatsoever. So, this human playthrough is on Hiatus. I'm very likely to come back after a bit with some hivers or another race, since I still like SOTS, but it... requires a lot. It requires that you be On, that you make the most of every single turn.
And I'm clearly not in a headstate to permit that anymore.

While Rebel holdouts remain in the north, we have more immediate concerns. The enemy is dug in, and well need to break their heavy defenses.
No matter how many hundreds of men we have to thoughtlessly toss against their defensive positions. Id say hundreds of stormtroopers are probably more valuable than an AT-AT, especially considering that the latter makes the former for free by the job-lot.
Again, living up to that Imperial Guard name. Afterwards, in the space campaign, we continue enemy suppression activities, rushing down each garrison and leaving our own small force to block future space activity.
Using the Eclipse as the tip of the spear, of course, until...
