I've vocalized some concerns about the situation throughout because I'm a whiny bastard, but we tried to push through all that and wage this campaign. That's getting more and more tough, as things have developed as I foresaw.
Plus or minus a few random bullshit fucking rolls.
The long and the short of it is; we need the Liir alive and viable imperially, and we need to secure our entire half of the galaxy from the Zuul, and both objectives keep chasing off from us like a spooked rabbit.
A rabbit with a lots of teeth that mind-enslaves you and pillages your worlds in the backline.
"Fun" isn't really on the menu, sunflower.

Okay, weve learned most of the ropes. Hopefully. At least, we understand the principles of this game. Expand, Explore, Exploit, and, where possible...
And normally, its not, because this game is more survival horror than Resident Evil atm...
Exterminate. Whatever these... things are. Its part of the games theme and story that we have no clue what this force is, it just came in, wiped out humanity, and, uh. Our drones video pickups arent precise enough to make out what they actually are, even when dead.
Well need to find data recordings and logs aboard all these derelicts, there has to be some clue somewhere.

Its one thing to figure two people probably dont like each other, but its a whole different thing to watch it unfold before your eyes. Or, say, being dragged into the middle of whats clearly a long history, grudge, whatever this is.
Shizune and Lilly dont like each other, and it boils over today. And for us, that means making a choice. Its not quite presented as such in the moment, but I get the strong feeling this is a watershed moment. Either it goes one way, or it goes the other.
Sorry, then, because Ive already made my choice. Regardless of other concerns, waffling at this point would just be worse than pointless, so well push ahead.
