Skeleton lake is officially named Roopkund and is located some 16000 feet or 5000 meters above sea level, in the Himalayan mountains. So here we are in the Nanda Devi Game Reserve in northeast India.. a Game warden is the area investigating rumors of a local legend when he discovers a lake that appears to contain an unknown number of human remains. It was impossible to determine how many bodies were in the lake but initial estimates concluded there was at least dozens and could be as many as 100. It turns out that radiocarbon dating at Oxfords University's Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit dated the remains to be approximately 1200 years old.. well it turns out that the new test featured not only updated radiocarbon dating technologies, but also included a genome wide analysis of 38 of the bodies found in Skeleton Lake. The more more advanced dating methods revealed that of the 38 bodies tested, 23 had South Asian Ancestry and were dated at 800ad, 1 of the bodies had South EASTERN Asian DNA and was dated at 1800 AD, were also dated at 1800 ad but the Remaining 14 subjects had Eastern Mediterranean DNA, specifically from present day people in GREECE. that's right folks, they were from the year 850 give or take 30 years. Later on, another Radiocarbon dating test would be done on these remains revealing yet another strange and unexplained property to these skeletons found in the lake at Roopkund. The local story of Skeleton Lake goes back to the same time frame, approximately the year 850. It is rumored that The King Of Jnauaj Raja Jasdhaval, and his pregnant wife were on a pilgrimage to the remote mountain lake of well ,presently, remains have been identified from over 300 individual human beings, unfortunately, I said at the beginning of this episode that Skeleton Lake was formed by an impact crater, but to date, no meteorite has been found at the location. Is it possible that the Lake was formed by the impact of a UFO? Perhaps a crashed one, or maybe not, maybe one that simply lands hard. It is possible. So what if UFO landed at and a lake formed over the object. What a awesome hiding place for a UFO. Especially if the lifeform inside can exit and return to the ship. Perfect, its like an underwater motel 6 for alien Or maybe it was a portal opening up, high on the mountain. I suspect if you were to create a warp field or portal inside of a pile of rock, the blast would look similar to a impact.
other then the 38 samples selected for these we spoke about previously, none of the remaining bodies have been tested further. I can only hope that there are plans to test some of these remaining samples if not ALL Of them at some point, but as of this date there are no known plans to do so. In fact, not all of the remains have been removed from the location. You see, it turns out that a local population called the Nanda Devi have a festival at the lake every twelve years to honor the goddess Nanda, Is this evidence of some sort of time travel or time shifting? Is an alien dumping ground for a being that was traveling time and collecting human beings for experimentation or food? Or perhaps it might be and UFO hideout for some kind of alien life form that had an extremely long lifetime, perhaps in the thousands of years? and this festival is linked to the legend of the Skelton lake
