Shadow Priest is shaping up to be one of the best-designed specs in Midnight.
Between the updated talent tree, meaningful build choices, incredible Hero Talent synergy and one of the most exciting Season 2 Tier Sets we've seen so far, Blizzard has finally given Shadow Priest the kind of gameplay depth many players have been asking for.
Is it perfect? Not quite. But it's very, very close.

One of the biggest reasons I'm so excited about Shadow Priest 12.1 is that Blizzard finally seems to be rewarding player choice instead of forcing everyone into a single playstyle. The talent tree offers meaningful decisions, the Hero Talents support different approaches, and the new Tier Set actually enhances the gameplay instead of simply adding passive damage.
Of course, there are still things I'd love to see improved. Priest mobility and survivability continue to be familiar pain points, and there are a few areas that could still use another PTR pass before launch. But compared to many of the other specs we've looked at, Shadow Priest feels like it's heading in exactly the right direction.
