In 1955, we opened the Midwest's first vision clinic focused on care for people with low vision and blindness. Since then, we have expanded our care to include psychological counseling, orientation and mobility training, assistive technology, and clinical research. What has never changed is our commitment to helping people with disabilities maintain their independence.
