Let's get my library from Alaska to Georgia.
The total costs (barge, trucks, customs, plane tickets) will be $12,000.
So far we've $6,000 towards the $6000 freighter costs. Not bad.
Now we are working on the $2,000 Barge cost for the 1,000 miles (1600 kilometers) down the coast from Haines Alaska to Seattle Washington.
We only need $760 for that $2,000 cost.
We can do it! We are well over 1/2 of the way there!
