The Hastings Prolific corn is still going strong. It has maxed out the 12 foot height of the greenhouse. The ears are forming quite nicely. I've ben shaking the stalks quite a bit to spread the pollen. If all goes well, we should be able to get some really nice ears for seed saving. I've planted another 30 or so hot peppers outside, and the field of tomatoes is coming along just fine. The Determinate Rutgers in the small greenhouse are some of the prettiest tomato vines that I've ever had. Deep green, loaded with fruit, and still flowering heavily. I think we might make a tomato or two. :-)
