So I decided to set myself a writing challenge because it's Christmas, I haven't been writing (or rather: published) nearly enough stories this year and because of that I have my final deadline of the year tomorrow (Friday, December 12th), so this seemed like a good idea :)
Basically I'll be posting one new fanfic on my FF.Net account (will also link on Tumblr) every day starting December 13 (Saint Lucia Day) and ending December 24 (Christmas Eve). They'll be Christmas-/Winter- and Romance-themed, meaning I have to decide on 12 different couples to write for.
And that's where you guys come in, because you get to suggest those couples!
Here are various alternatives that you can do to get me to write about a certain couple (note that you can use all of them; there are no limits to how many times you send me suggestions or how)

Yes, its been a while since I uploaded anything like this. Years, actually. But Ive been snooping about, looking at everything all of you wonderful people are doing, and Ive still been editing stuff in my own time (when theres been time).
However, when someone pitches a month of prompts centered around OCs... its time to return!
So this is for StarkQueens OCtober project - go read about it on her channel - and todays prompt was friends. And these two popped into my head immediately. Vidding them also gave me a reason to get some DA:I clips, so... all good!
The story goes like this:
Lea is from Earth, but ends up in Thedas for an unknown reason and, after the untimely death of Evelyn Trevelyan, takes up the mantel as Inquisitor. She finds a close friend in the mage Dorian Pavus, to the point that they actually seem to be more like brother and sister than friend. After defeating Corypheus, however, Lea is taken back to Earth with no memory of what she did in Thedas. When she is brought back to that world again - still without a memory of her deeds - she runs into Dorian again and, unlike everyone else (who basically just tiptoes around her) he tries to befriend her anew and gives her a book detailing some of their past escapades. Lea eventually regains her memory and, together with Dorian, starts to plan for a permanent future in Thedas.

Im astounded that I managed to get another one done the day after I just posted for the first time in years...
So this is another video for StarkQueens OCtober prompt list. Todays prompt was mistake - and while my first thought revolved around various romantic couples, this guy and this part of my upcoming novel (yes, you read that correctly) popped up and would not leave.
First off: this includes some HEAVY spoilers for the book Im about to release. The book is called The Merging (you can see trailer for the novel on my youtube page, actually) and focuses on what happens when two worlds - Earth and another, similar world - merge into one. This video is centered around two of the main events at the end of the book, so... yeah, sorry for spoiling things, but I hope you still enjoy it!
Story:
Weston is one of the leaders of the rebellious Dracos. After a successful raid against the world governments Recreation Centers, freeing thousands of people who oppose how the government is handling the Merging, Weston plans and orders a second raid on the four remaining, heavily guarded Centers. After returning from a successful raid at one of these locations, Weston finds out that one of the other raids was a disaster, causing the death of hundreds on both sides - including his own daughter, Laura. Weston hands leadership over to another member of the Dracos while trying to cope with what him rushing into a second raid caused. His old friend, Alastair Stone, attempts to console him, but to no avail. The Dracos new leaders soon order a final stand against the government, bringing all of their beasts from their underground headquarters to a battle on the surface. During the battle, Weston sacrifices himself to save Stone (and a few other important characters).
