Well I just put this tarp through the absolute worst rain I've ever had a tarp in and it held its own. My Ridgerunner and Snugpak Jungle Blanket UQ stayed home dry WITHOUT using a UQP. I had it pitched super low and wide and my daughter and I hunkered down underneath to watch the storm roll up the bay. After the rain moved off, the sun came out to the west and we caught a glimpse of an ultra rare DOUBLE RAINBOW.... Now that was cool! The main one was super well defined and very bright as it looped across the middle of the bay right in front of our house. Unfortunately, no gold was found. So if you're looking for a decent budget tarp, check out Chill Gorilla. Mine has performed just as well as my much more expensive, and cottage manufactured Wilderness Logics Old Man Winter. Not bad for a $60 Amazon tarp I'd say! Now I'm off to bed in my DRY Ridgerunner as I listen to the waves lap against the sand..... ~ Chesapeake
