In this video, I will show you how to install Shaders for Minecraft 1.18.1 with Iris Shaders! With the release of Minecraft 1.18.1, we immediately got Iris Shaders for Minecraft 1.18.1 as well! This means that using Fabric for 1.18.1, you can now install shaders for Minecraft 1.18.1, soon after the release of the new game update!
Iris Shaders are an alternative to Optifine 1.18.1, which by the time of recording this video, wasn't out yet. Depending on when you watch this video, you may need to install an alpha release of Sodium 1.18.1 though, which can be buggy. Don't worry, it works very well and with Sodium and Iris Shaders, you also get a nice FPS boost in Minecraft 1.18.1.
The Minecraft 1.18.1 shaders used in this video are Oceano Shaders, which look gorgeous, and should work on a wide range of systems. If you are having trouble running Oceano Shaders for 1.18.1, make sure to check out my other videos on low end shaders for Minecraft 1.18.1 and older.

Sodium is a Minecraft Mod that optimizes the way Minecraft runs on your system, which will give an instantaneous FPS Boost in Minecraft 1.18 and fix lag in Minecraft. Most people only know Optifine which also improves performance in Minecraft 1.18, but Sodium does a much better job at getting more FPS in Minecraft.
Thats why in this video, I will show you how to install Sodium to Boost FPS in Minecraft 1.18! I will also show you how to install Fabric for Minecraft 1.18, because you need Fabric to run Sodium. Of course, were going to take a look at Sodium in action as well, to check whether the installation was actually successful.
Just installing the Minecraft Sodium mod for Fabric can make Minecraft smoother and increase FPS in Minecraft overall. For some people it can even give a huge FPS boost and the best thing is that even if you install Sodium 1.18, you can still add other Minecraft Fabric mods on top of that as well! Do keep in mind that Minecraft Sodium 1.18 does not work with Optifine.
