AdmiralMcFish - Bosses and Hidden Characters | #1173 Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks (PS2) Unplayables (3/7): Raiden gameplay @AdmiralMcFish | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 1 second ago
Gameplay of the unplayable character/NPC Raiden in Midway/Netherrealm’s Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks.
[Raiden has no useable moves, so I gave him Kung Lao’s moveset]
Raiden mostly just appears in cutscenes in the game, although on some occasions it’s actually Shang Tsung in disguise. He doesn’t have his own moveset, as you’d imagine, so Kung Lao’s made the most sense. They both have big hats, right? Nothing to really say about Raiden; if you wanted to play through with his model it’s possible, but for some reason the game really struggles with the unplayables using projectiles. As you can see here, it even leads to Raiden’s death on a couple of occasions. I’ve seen other videos where it wasn’t the case, so I’m not really sure what the issue is.
Up next, another look at a rather frail Shang Tsung.
