Minecraft 1.17.1 has been out for a while now, so by now most mods have been updated to work with Forge 1.17.1 as well. In this video I will show you how to install Just Enough Items 1.17.1 for Forge 1.17.1! Minecraft Just Enough Items aka jei 1.17.1 is one of the most popular mods for Minecraft of all time, especially when you combine it with other 1.17.1 mods! Just Enough Items lets you check item recipes and uses at any time and also works with other mods. With Just Enough Items you will never have to remember any crafting recipes any more! Just Enough Items is a Forge mod, so in this video I will also show you how to install Forge 1.17.1, so you'll be able to use Just Enough Items in Minecraft 1.17.1!
Now the Forge 1.17.1 installer will be a .jar file, so to run it you need Java. Because for some people the file association is set incorrectly, they will need to run a program called Jarfix to fix this. Apart from showing you how to install Forge for Minecraft 1.17.1, I will also show you the mod in action real quick! Thats why in this video I will show you how to install Faithful for Minecraft 1.16.3. The Faithful 1.16.3 texture pack includes 32x textures that look like an upgrade from Vanilla Minecraft textures. Faithful 1.16.3 is one of the most popular resource packs for Minecraft, but its a little harder to install since you cant find the Faithful texture pack 1.16.3 on Curseforge! I do recommend installing Optifine 1.16.3 when using texture packs to get overall better performance, but its not necessary for this pack. Minecraft 1.16.3 is beautiful just the way it is, but wouldnt it be even cooler if you could have amazing block reflections in Minecraft 1.16.3? What if I told you this pack even tried to add RTX in Minecraft 1.16.3, by simulating the effects and textures of Bedrock RTX. In this video I will show how to Complementary Shaders in Minecraft using the Complementary 1.16.3 textures which are called Complementary Resources for Minecraft 1.16.3! Besides installing 1.16.3 minecraft shaders, we also need to install Optifine 1.16.3. Because to run shaders in Minecraft 1.16.3, you will need Optifine 1.16.3. Complementary Shaders are a BSL Edit that come with their own 1.16.3 PBR texture pack that adds normal mapping and specular mapping to Minecraft 1.16.3. This way the pack is also a realistic 1.16.3 texture pack, because it adds realistic 1.16.3 textures. The pack uses vanilla textures and adds extra information for shaders to add reflections in Minecraft 1.16.3.
