In this video, I used the primeweld mig 180 recommended settings for 1/8" thick steel on a lap joint and then tried the same settings at a slower travel speed on 1/4" thick steel.
I used the pigtail adapter to plug into a 115 volt receptacle on a 20 amp circuit to check the performance on 115 volt.
I don't know how well it would perform on a 15 amp circuit but most welders are very limited on a 15 amp breaker/circuit. I personally would not assume any dual voltage welder would do very well on a 15 amp circuit.
