I've since taken my desktop mining rig out of the 22 GPU hydroponics tent. Now that it's out, I figured I'd make a quick video about it and show how to turn your desktop into a mining powerhouse while still being a functional desktop.
I have two RX580s inside the computer that I can use for Crossfire gaming along with two RX480s external of the case that are dedicated to mining. I can even mine and game at the same time if I want to!
When turning your desktop PC into a mining rig, ensure that you have a very powerful PSU (800w+ for 4 GPUs) and enough PCIe 1x slots on your motherboard. If you have a decent gaming motherboard I can almost guarantee that you have atleast 4 PCIe slots.
