I’m just gonna to come right out and say it: EVA Air premium economy is very good. Of course, I sort of knew it would be, since I have flown EVA once before (years ago) on a regional business class flight - which was fantastic.

This particular flight, an 11.5 hour long haul segment from Taipei to Los Angeles, lived up to every single one of the very high expectations I had set in my mind ahead of time. The food was great, the seats spacious and comfortable, and the crew top-notch.

This is footage from flight number 6 back in early March 2020. I had seat 24D and the aircraft registration was B-16729.
