On New Year’s Eve 2025, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a concerned citizen reporting that a known registered sex offender had been seen in the company of two minors. The caller provided a description of the suspect and his vehicle, a Ford pickup truck. Shortly afterward, a deputy spotted the truck on the freeway & decided to pull it over to investigate further. At first he didn’t know what he was heading into, but that came clear just moments later.
During the stop, it was discovered that one of the juveniles had been reported missing. As the deputy began running a background check on the driver, the suspect attempted to flee the scene. He was apprehended a short time later.
60-year-old Darnell Hairston was arrested a short while later & is currently being held without bond after it was discovered that he had actually kidnapped one of the juveniles & allegedly was going to kill him.

On the 4th of May 2020, The Vineland Police Department received a frantic call stating that someone had been stabbed & was on the verge of death.
The victim had been stabbed by a TikToker who had been in an ongoing dispute with him, partly due to the content he was making.
