This was my first adventure in turning a hybrid wood/resin project. A couple mistakes that I learned from and a few processes I probably won’t short cut again, namely the forstner bit. The failed first resin casting I’ll chock up to trying to fit the casting in after work one evening. I rushed it, didn’t look at the night time temps and didn’t have time to turn in the garage while it was setting so I could run the heat just a bad decision. I didn’t video the second casting mainly because I wasn’t sure what exactly the issue was. I moved the pressure pot into the house, insured the compressor was drained of water and kept it warm.
