The setting 11% Crescent Moon battling through the unstable Ohio skies. Filmed on 2 cameras, the Canon RA camera & Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8 G2 lens and the Canon R camera & RF 800mm lens. At 3:11 a photo from March 13th of the Orion Nebula, and at 5:02 the uncut 45 minutes of footage sped up to 2 minutes.

$William Optics GT71 Telescope & Canon R Camera - Stars & Moon Just a bit of testing with the William Optics GT71 APO Triplet Refractor Telescope on the 44% Moon and a few stars (Sirius, Betelgeuse, Aldebaran, & Mars). The footage may have actually been a bit better when putting on the Kenko 2x teleconverter onto the Canon R camera. The GT71 is a F/5.9 420mm telescope (840mm with the 2x teleconverter, and 4200mm at the 5x, and 8400mm at the 10x focusing zoom) .
