The Rules for the Zombie head Challenge!
1. No sighters.
2. You have 10 minutes from your first shot to fire ten rounds and try to complete the challenge.
3. If you fail you must wait 20 minutes before trying again.
4. Only direct hits count no bounce hits
5. If you get a hit on the zombie head you can finish your ten shot string and try to get multiple hits on the head.
6. If you are successful you must hang the head on your wall and brag to all your friends about how great a marksman you are.
7. You must have fun.
8 You must complete 1,000 before moving on to 1,200 and so forth.
I used my Uintah Precision Bolt action UPR-10 upper chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor for this challenge. The scope used is my SWFA fixed 12x scope. It has MOA turrets and an MOA reticle. The barrel is a 26” Shilen Match hand lapped barrel with a 1:8 twist. The rifle has a Velocity single stage trigger set at 3lbs. Aero Precision lower with a Luth AR rifle length stock.
Ammunition used, Barnes 140g Match Burners BTHP set .010” off the lands. H4350 powder ignited by a federal large match primer. Brass is Atlas Development Group 6.5 Creedmoor full length resized with a shoulder bump of .002” and neck expanding mandrel for .001” neck tension. Velocity of 2775 FPS and a BC of .571
