From watermelon popping boba and watermelon Jell-O to watermelon tanghulu, giant gummies, Sour Patch Watermelon, freeze dried candy, watermelon cotton candy, sour straws, watermelon bubble gum, popsicles, Italian ice, and more, I’m testing every watermelon snack I can find to build the perfect watermelon mint toothpaste flavor.
Along the way, I break down what makes a toothpaste taste good, why sugar causes cavities, why artificial flavors and dyes do not belong in my formula, and why I chose science backed ingredients like xylitol, nano hydroxyapatite, zinc citrate, aloe vera, potassium chloride, and natural watermelon flavoring.
