All entries should follow the rules below, fit within the time limit, and be uploaded to YouTube. Then, e-mail the link to mogulermade@gmail.com (with "Terror Trials" in the subject line) on the due date. (I'll check the entries the next morning.) Please use original content, and don't include copyrighted material.
1-MINUTE DIY PROJECT (due Wednesday, October 16)
Have a cool horror or Halloween-themed DIY project or tutorial? In one minute or less, show us your build or filmmaking technique, and demonstrate what it accomplishes. I'll honor winners in several categories—perhaps best prop build, best costume, best make-up effect, best lighting, or camera trick, etc.
3-MINUTE SHORT FILM (due Wednesday, October 23)
You have up to three minutes (doesn't have to be 3:00—could be 30 seconds!) to present a scary film—well, it doesn't have to be scary as long as it's Halloween or horror-themed. I'll try to honor lots of different short films in yet-to-be-determined categories. Most blood? Best costume? Scariest? Best acting? Who knows?!
