Here is a video where I celebrate my love of science fiction, celebrating 100 years since it Hugo Gernsback gave it a game changing definition in 1926, in the magazine "Amazing Stories".
The video was inspired by the awesome project that Gavin from @GenreBooks23 is about to embark on, where he puts up 100 different book reviews; one for each year since 1926. It's a bold project. This is clearly not as expansive but it still took me several days to whittle down what I wanted to include, and filming and editing it together.
Science Fiction, SF or Sci-fi, however you want to brand it, has been a mainstay in my life. I'm in my 50s now and have been collecting it in prose form and loving it on screen all of my life. I thought it would be great to highlight some of the things I love here. I have clearly missed out some things. I almost included something from Asimov, but he got moved off to make way for something else. Dune is also noticeably absent - and I like the book, but in lieu of a reread, I didn't love it when I read it as a teenager.
It's a very personal list and includes some things that wouldn't be included by someone who was overly concerned about looking knowledgeable or authoritative. I have investigated and loved science fiction for many decades, but haven't always liked what was considered canon or classic.

So I hope you enjoy the video and can appreciate my enthusiasm for my love of aliens, time travel, other worlds, future societies, technological speculation, philosophical speculation, space travel and interstellar battles between good and evil.
Hopefully with their blessing, I will tag some people here that I know enjoy science fiction, so that hopefully at least some of the video makes them grin in agreement.

I love science fiction more than the average guy in the street, and it's fired my imagination since I was a little kid. Hopefully this video illustrates that love in a fun way.
