Are vans good for skating? yes... are canvas shoes good for skating? usually, no... but these are, and are actually sickest shoe i've had for a while. My last favourite pair from vans where the chima pro 2's and they're canvas as well. Vans pro canvas holds up against skating real good. And against 100 kickflips they are barely even noticeable they've been skated yet.
