This ride started at Coleman PowerSports in Fairfax, VA and ended in Laurel, MD.
I got fitted for Big Ear custom earplugs prior to leaving Coleman.(https://www.bigearinc.com). With temps over 100 degrees, I knew this was going to be a long, hot ride — and protecting my hearing on the Hayabusa is non-negotiable.
And once I rolled out? It was PURE FIRE.
On this ride:
Followed behind a truck loaded with loose rocks 🤦🏽♂️
Spotted a car with a bumper barely hanging on
Got surrounded by two police officers
Watched cars run red lights in real time
When you're on two wheels, especially in triple-digit heat, awareness has to be elite. This was over an hour of riding condensed into the most intense moments so you can feel the energy without missing a thing.
From Fairfax, VA to Laurel, MD, Platinum handled business.
