Above & Beyond release a remix package comprising two brand new versions of their modern classic ‘Quicksand (Don’t Go)’, with longtime collaborator Zoë Johnston. The package features new remixes by renowned DJs/producers Mark Sherry and Ciaran McAuley, as well as previously released mixes by Sultan + Shepard and Ben Nicky. The remix package sees the vocal trance club record transform from darker, more progressive sounds into mainstage-driven anthems.
With a legacy built on authenticity, innovation, and pure power behind the decks, Mark Sherry is known for his unmistakable drive and relentless passion. Having collaborated with some of the biggest names in electronic music - from Armin van Buuren and Giuseppe Ottaviani to now reworking Above & Beyond - Mark has toured the world’s most iconic stages, including Tomorrowland, Ultra, A State of Trance, Creamfields, Dreamstate and clubs such as Privilege Ibiza and Space Miami.
“I was playing at the Dreamstate SoCal event in November 2025 when A&B were on says Mark. ‘Quicksand’ was easily the standout track of their set - it sent huge shivers down my spine. He adds Im absolutely delighted to be part of the release - it’s definitely a bucket-list project.
Working alongside scene leaders such as Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila and Gareth Emery, Ciaran McAuley has grown into one of the most respected and emotionally resonant names in uplifting and vocal trance. What began as a steady rise through consistent Beatport chart-toppers has evolved into full international recognition as both a producer with a distinct melodic identity.

The remix package sees Ben Nicky, taking Zoë Johnston’s delicate vocals, deliver a high-octane weapon packed with tech-trance drives and explosive drops. His fast-paced energy creates a striking contrast to Sultan + Shepard’s progressive style, while linking Mark Sherry’s tech power and Ciaran McAuley’s euphoric melodies to round out the package.
