Ten years...
It's hard to put into words what that really means.
When we started this platform, there really wasn't any grand master plan. There wasn't an office, a tour, a podcast, or millions of people following along. There was just a simple belief that teachers deserved to laugh. That they deserved to feel seen.
Over the last decade, this community has become something so much bigger than we ever imagined.
We've watched complete strangers become lifelong friends because they happened to sit next to each other at a comedy show. We've read messages from teachers who said a video helped them through an impossible week. We've seen packed theaters full of educators laughing until they cried after years of carrying the weight of everyone else.
Those moments have never been about us. They've always been about you.
To every teacher who shared one of our videos, bought a ticket, listened to the podcast, wore our merch, told a coworker about us, or simply laughed when they needed it most... thank you.
You built this.
I hope Bored Teachers has reminded you, even if just for a few minutes at a time, that you're not alone. That someone understands the chaos, the exhaustion, the absurdity, and the incredible heart it takes to do what you do every single day.
Looking back at these last ten years fills us with so much gratitude.
Looking ahead fills us with hope.
