A video game world without NPCs is like a pizza without any toppings. Sure, it’s serviceable, but it’s not particularly interesting, is it? Like pizza toppings, however, there are some NPCs that gamers love, the pepperoni and extra mozzarella of NPCs, if you will, and others that many wish had been left out of the final product and, preferably, put straight in the nearest bin.
