As a blind person I've seen it all. People tend to get weird when the see a white cane. Every singe one of these interactions has happened to me many times, and while I'm making this a bit of light fun, this is a gentle PSA to be kind to folks who use white canes, and respectful of other's space and boundaries. What's your navigation horror story?

Number 1. The tripper. Someone crosses her path and trips over her cane.
Number 2 The kicker. Someone kicks her cane out of the way and runs past.
Number 3 The oblivious. Someone on their phone crashes directly into her
Number 4 The jumper. Someone leaps overtop of her cane.
Number 5 The dancer. Someone can't pick the direction to move and dances back and forth panicked in front of her before moving off.
Number 6 The blocker. Someone repeatedly gets hit in the ankles as Tamara tries to move around them unsuccessfully.
Number 7 The worrier. A man panics ordering her to stop, then moves a tiny pinecone out of Tamara's path.
Number 8 The dragger A man drags tamara by the wrist after she denies wanting assistance.
Number 9 The intrusive. A man gets up into tamara's personal space and asks intrusive questions.
Number 10 The best. The person just causally notices and moves out of her way.
