Every little girl wants to be a Disney princess. They grow up watching these beautiful belles (see what I did there?) strutting their stuff and being graceful role models. Disney has long been under fire for promoting unrealistic body expectations, but even more so after a few Disney princesses themselves revealed what it is really like working at the “happiest place” on earth.
At every audition, hundreds of childhood dreams are destroyed as the actresses are told in plain terms, that they are too old, too fat or just don’t look like a Disney princess. What could be worse? Oh yes, getting the part.
