Matteo Brighi is probably one of the most famous 'hidden gem' players in the whole of FIFA history. Why? Because like all players classed as hidden gems, he has hugely inflated stats for a football player of his stature. To be fair, he played over 100 games for Roma and won four caps for Italy, but that doesn't exactly justify his 97 overall rating on FIFA 2003, making him the best player on the game...
To put that into context, he's rated higher than the likes of Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Zinedine Zidane. But are there any other players on FIFA 2003 that could be classed as hidden gems?
