Genetics plays a role in every physical quality humans have, and this includes body types. Many aspiring bodybuilders don't want to believe this but it's just the way it is. Yes, anyone who stops eating will lose weight, just like anyone who won't stop eating will gain weight. But the extent of these weight changes is where genetics play a role. When you add a certain body changing habit to a person with certain genetics, things can get out of hand quickly. Take bodybuilders for example. There are some who have transformed into freaks of nature. This is with the help of performance-enhancing drugs, but the biggest ones are the ones who have great muscle-building genetics. This is frustrating for the ones who have to work twice as hard for half the progress. But not all are as lucky as bodybuilders. Some genetics take a less helpful approach, such as excessive weight gaining. Anyone who stuffs their face with junk foods all day every day will gain weight in the form of fat, that's obvious. Now add those eating habits to a body type that stores foods in ways that make them gain excessive amounts of weight quicker than everyone else around them. Just like the biggest bodybuilders, these people are a sight to see. Overweight people are nothing uncommon but there are some that take being overweight to an uncomprehending level.
