In this one we’re looking at 10 upcoming indie games I got to see first-hand at Gamescom 2025 - and all of them are confirmed for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. From cosy adventures to tough roguelites and stylish narrative experiences, these were some of the real standouts from Gamescom.

I’ll share what I played, what I liked, and why each of these indies deserves a spot on your radar. Some of them are complete surprises, others you might have heard whispers about, but every single one impressed me. Whether you’re into Metroidvanias, strategy RPGs, survival horror, or something totally unexpected, there’s definitely something here for you.
