Whenever someone asks me for recommendations on what to read next, I love it when they tell me what they've already enjoyed, what has appealed to them in the past.
It helps me curate a list that I feel more confident about; the books I pick -I feel - have a higher chance of becoming a favourite.
And perhaps the most common books named as existing loves are the Adventures of Tintin, by Herge, and the Adventures of Asterix, by Goscinny and Uderzo.
So this Sunday, join me LIVE as I present a list of ten comics titles culled from my years of recommendations for those who love Tintin/Asterix and want to know what else there is out there.
I use a HIGHLY scientific formula (balancing nostalgia and familiarity on one side with newness, discovery, and exploration on the other) to fine tune this list which - as always - I hope will feature something for everyone.
And of course I will be using my selection methodology as an excuse to talk about slightly more than 10 books, need you even ask?
