Tests of two replacement batteries made in China marked "For CN NB-2LH" and a stock Canon battery BP-2L5, which came with HF R10 camcorder, for reference. I used my Array 3710A elctronic load (a re-branded unit), some programming in Python using Eclipse to log data from the electronic load, and a tiny bit of power of GNU Octave for plotting data.

Update (Apr 15 2014): I received a formal reply from the seller that they are refunding my money, and they didn't even ask to return the batteries. They didn't mention if they watched this video or not. Here is the reply:

"Thank you for shopping with us.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
We will process a refund back to your account. Please allow up to 4 business days for the refund to be reflected on your account. The refund will be processed using the original form of payment you used.
If you need further assistance, please feel free to email us back. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience."
