FUSION POLYGONS: The Single Node Revolution
Think you need dozens of nodes to create a diverse shape library in Fusion? Think again.
THE CHALLENGE
Create as many different shapes as possible with the absolute minimum of nodes. Why? Because:
It's more maintainable
It's more flexible
It's procedural
And most importantly... because it's possible!
THE RESULT
With ONE SINGLE Polygon node (yes, just one), I can generate:
Crosses of all shapes and sizes
Stars with 4, 6, 8, 12+ branches
Ultra-detailed flakes
Complex geometric shapes
Gears and mechanical forms
And over 10,000 possible combinations...
PROJECT STATUS
⚠️ This technique is STILL in active development. What you see here is just a preview of what's already possible. And honestly, it already far exceeds my initial expectations.
The poor Star node can retire and go to the vintage tools museum 😅
WHAT'S COMING
Even more shapes
Complete documentation
Maybe templates to share
A reproducible method for your own creations
