i only had one hour at seaworld san antonio before i had to head to the airport, so me and christian tried to speedrun as much of the park as possible before time ran out.
we started on barracuda strike, the new coaster at seaworld san antonio. the park describes it as texas’ first inverted family coaster and the tallest inverted family coaster in north america, so there was no shot i was leaving san antonio without getting on it first. from there, we kept pushing for tidal surge, texas stingray, great white, and steel eel while the clock kept getting tighter. 
this whole day felt like one of those terrible ideas that is way too fun to back out of. trying to fit some of the biggest rides at seaworld san antonio into one hour right before a flight was chaotic, stressful, and honestly one of the most fun ways to end a texas trip. tidal surge alone is billed by the park as one of the world’s tallest and fastest screaming swings, which made the whole sprint feel even crazier.
