We went looking for the cheapest soup dumplings in Shanghai, then the most expensive ones we could find, in the same day. One is a local spot with no reviews online where six dumplings cost 10 RMB, the other has a Michelin star and only does crab. By the end I knew which one I'd actually go back to.
