Africa Everyday | 1 Dollar 1 Day Food Budget Challenge in Nigeria @africa_everyday | Uploaded June 2021 | Updated October 2024, 19 minutes ago.
Inspired by memories of the first video I made with Atomic Shrimp, let's revisit the budget challenge - 1 US dollar equivalent for 1 person for 1 day.

For reference the unit of currency here in Nigeria is called the Naira; at the time of making this video, 411 Naira is equal to 1 US dollar (so 1 Naira is about ¼ of a US cent).
There is also a smaller currency unit called Kobo - 1 Naira is 100 Kobo. As you can probably guess, Kobo is a worthless unit now.

Times are tough here. For anyone who is able and willing to be a regular supporter, here's the Patreon link: patreon.com/Africa_Everyday
