Those two remakes are slower, shorter and definitely more polished than the originals. I tried to make them less boring, more rich in sound and simply just better. I hope you will enjoy them!PS. Cloutains (clouds + mountains) means the phenomena when the clouds lay on mountains in such a way they themselves seem to be mountains. After the all-famous Pipp's song, I knew next will be Sunny. Obviously it took a while, because fitting vocals to the acceptable level was quite hard. And since I didn't find any clean acapella to Gonna Be My Day, as many other musicians, I used the cut as-clean-as-it-can-be version someone made from the movie. It's good enough, but I had to cut quite of the outro, because it contained way too many additional fx like Sunny skating, Hitch' puffing or any other sounds present during the song.I think the pad melody really elevates Vanessa/Sunny's voice and of course it's very different than the original, which is usually my goal while remixing. Releasing new track! This song was first premiered in the last Lantern in the Dark mix. I thought it would be nice to create more chill version of this tune I made with Dalken.First concept of this remix was pretty rough, I just changed the drums to the more chill layout, keeping all trance vibes, which, as you can imagine, was weird to listen to. Final version is a lot more crafted and chilled, with slightly changed pads' melody which gave a little different taste to the original and the overall effect is stunning. Young me just found the Modplug Tracker - my first program I used to make music. My first attempts were very random, mostly choosing some samples and then trying to put them into melodies. It took me a while and the track I called "The Revolution" was the first milestone. The first tune that sounded like a music from the start to the end.10 years later I switched my DAW to FL Studio (back then known as Fruity Loops) It was pretty new in that program, so the tune is rather safe, but smooth to listen. Needless to say, I was very upset about that. I mean, come on! Rejecting whole tune because of an intro? How REEEEEEEEEEEEE is that? I threw it in the chillout folder and let it be for years (yep, the original 1,5 year now!). But some time recently I played it again and... I needed to admit I was wrong. I was so sure it's that very special I didn't want to listen to good advice judges gave me, I totally focused on the negative aspect of being rejected. It was not the greatest time for my addictive music factory, that's for sure.So anyway, I decided to make it better (I'd do that before putting it on album anyway), so it could truly earn its spot. In this album version you can count on many more sounds, more polished mixing, changes to melodies to make it less repetitive. Dreamworks did it again: they built interesting world, filled with fun characters and good story. I enjoyed it so much, I'm sad it's over. I started making creating it after chapter 6 of the first season, I made it longer during the 2nd season, but only after a finale I gained inspiration boost strong enough to finish the whole tune. It's one of the shiniest ambient chillout experience tracks I made and I really like how the melody goes. It's very soothing, but with some mysterious vibes here and there. The Path of the Jaguar was not easy.
