Let's Play Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (PC)
#09: Earthen Peak & Iron Keep
Two Old Ones down, two to go. The next one is an obvious choice for me: I'll pick up where I left off, just past Harvest Valley, at Earthen Peak. Mytha is a very easy fight, as long as the windmill is burned and the poison drained. Iron Keep, on the other hand, is even more dangerous than it was originally; there's just so many more enemies, it's actually rather ridiculous. Old Iron King, though? Haha, a dead bagrol.

ABOUT THIS SERIES:
This is a casual playthrough where I recreate my favorite old DEX/INT build. The pacing is a bit faster than my usual style; this is not a comprehensive walkthrough, and I will be skipping some items/enemies/sections. I will kill all bosses. I have not played DkS2 since before the release of the third game earlier this year, and in recent months I've been very engrossed in DkS1; this is my revisitation of DkS2, to once and for all gain a proper perspective on all three games in the series.

#05: Hunstmans Copse & Harvest Valley
The next decided route is towards Iron Keep; I wanted to go straight to the Partizan, but I completely blanked out, didnt see that I already had a couple of Fragrant Branches, and decided to fetch the one that I know exists in Harvest Valley.
A bit of a detour, but no matter! There are a couple of titanite chunks this way for my troubles, and a couple of rather easy boss fights (Skeleton Lords, Covetous Demon). Oh, and Lucatiel is found for the third time! My lovely Mirrah waifu.

#13: Undead Crypt
While Shrine of Amana seemed to get toned down a bit from the previous version, Undead Crypt is stepping it up. There are many more bells scattered throughout the grave section, as well as additional skeletons; lighting the secret torch also calls forth a squadron of red phantom insolents to annoy you with all kinds of shenanigans.
As for Vendrick... well, certainly no more a King, let alone a man...

ABOUT THE GAME:
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
Prepare to experience your new obsession it claims on the box. Yes, but also confusion and frustration. Daggerfall is a first-person dungeon-crawler, second installment of the Elder Scrolls series, and it pioneered some of the elements that would become standard in later titles. It was a highly-ambitious project, and it did some interesting things that were never seen again within the series.

ABOUT THE GAME:
Pokémon: Trading Card Game (JP:1998 NA:2000) is a digitized version of the crazy popular collection/battle phenomenon of the late 90s. This adaptation creates a familiar game-world where the trainer must battle their way to collecting 8 medals and rising to defeat the Grand Masters... collect em all, battle the best, and become the Grand Champion. The game also takes advantage of the Gameboy link-cables to allow friends to duel one another as well as trade cards, generate new cards, and swap deck configurations. #01: How to Play — [Pokémon TCG]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Iyu5CrjY5Ns/mqdefault.jpg)
