In this video, I try (and fail) to quickly show you a 0.15s sand dispenser with a really fast start-up time, being 0.4s. This basically means that, from the moment when the circuit starts changing states, it only takes 8 game ticks until the first sand entity arrives in the End, which is a vast improvement from my previous design which had a start-up time of somewhere in between one and two seconds (then again, it wasn't optimized for this purpose, needless to say).
As for why I needed this, well, I'm afraid that'd spoil a lot of the fun. :P Feel free to speculate for yourself though, however, even more importantly, feel free to create an even faster design, or understand why some location-dependencies work the way they do! XD
