I took the van off the beaten track again and found a great spot next to one of the many teal coloured lakes in Gorge Du Verdon, France.
That night however, a huge storm turned the whole area into a bog, trapping the van and me in the middle of the wilderness.
The nearest town was an hour or more walk, I had no internet or phone signal and any attempt of moving the van would just result in sinking further into the mud.
So I had no option but to wait it out and let the ground dry.
I was stuck for 2 and a half days, so I decided to document a day in the life of being stuck in the middle of nowhere, Project.Amber style.
With supplies and essentials fully stocked and my van having plenty to keep me occupied, this is how I survive the wilderness.
